A big, beautiful gala
Place of Hope is one of my FAVE charities. I've been working with them for about 8 years now, photographing all their events. Each year they host a gorgeous gala in the Palm Beach area. This year, they had their Lexus Hope Bash at Trump National in Jupiter. The theme "A Night of Pure Imagination" was a feast for the eyes! The cocktail party
Guests arrived to a yacht display, a champagne wall, and an auction cocktail party under twinkling lights. My team of photographers captured guests as they walked in at a larger than life sized storybook surrounded by flowers.
During the cocktail hour guests could bid on great silent auction items, hear music by DJ Lexey, enjoy a fresh Montecristo cigar, and get surprised by a walking tree! That definitely surprised some people!
The reception
Once inside, guests were surrounded by flowers! They were draped from the ceilings, adorning every table, and even garnishing their meal plates. The room smelled incredible too!
The reception featured a prayer by Pastor Ellis McKenzie, special thank you by the amazing co-chairs (Heather Atkins, Tara Dillon, Erin Elmore, and Morgan McGrath Ross), a welcome by Title Sponsor, Vivian Parkes, from Lexus and a Place of Hope update by Charles Bender.
Some very special awards were given out:

- Harry L. Weinstein Hero of Hope: Tom DeRita
- Foundation Award: Maria Paxson
A fun ending
The evening concluded with an amazing Live Auction and Call to the Heart by our favorite auctioneer, Neil Saffer. They had so many fantastic trips and experiences and a lot of generous donations! Once all the formalities were done, guests got to enjoy a super fun DJ and live musicians who got the guests dancing and having a blast!
